Corokia buddleioides
This tree belongs to the dogwood family and is endemic to
New Zealand and Rapa Island; now planted as a garden shrub
or small tree. It has an attractive appearance at all stages of
growth. The leaves have a sharp pointed tip, green on top, with
a silvery under surface. It has bright yellow star-like flowers

with dark red berries. Though it belongs to the Auckland Province, it is hardy and will grow anywhere. The liquid from the boiled leaves gives instant relief from stomach ache (Adams).
